One of my biggest joys in life is supporting new parents, whether it be through doula support or providing a positive, intimate experience for newborn photos. Welcoming another human into your family is such a raw, vulnerable time.

I’ve supported over 60 births as a doula and over a hundred families in the postpartum period. If you’re worried about showing up as a perfect family for photos, don’t be. Be yourself. That is perfect. And that’s exactly how I want to capture you. I often find myself in a newborn session, kneeling next to the birthing parent as they feed their baby, asking about their birth experience. Checking to see if they have any questions about calming or burping their baby. Or even how to safely swaddle a baby. For me, photography isn’t just about the pictures, it’s about connecting with all the families I meet.
